Bayer CropScience introduces two new ‘L Series’ InVigor canola hybrids in Canada

Calgary, Alberta, Canada
October 14, 2011

Bayer CropScience is building on the success of its ‘L Series’ canola hybrids launched in 2011, with the addition of two new innovative and high-yielding InVigor® canola hybrids for the 2012 growing season.

“Year after year, our InVigor hybrids consistently out-yield the competition, and our new ‘L Series’ canola hybrids once again demonstrate our breeding advancements and superior genetics that maximize growers’ returns and minimize risk,” says Blaine Woycheshin, Manager, Oilseed Crops – InVigor Seed for Bayer CropScience.

The new ‘L Series’ line-up will include InVigor L120, an early maturing hybrid that yields 134% of check varieties and InVigor L135C, the first clubroot resistant InVigor hybrid that delivers an excellent combination of early maturity and high yield potential.

“Consistent with the ‘L Series’ line-up, our new high performing hybrids deliver early season vigor, extraordinary performance even in stressed conditions and outstanding yield,” says Woycheshin. “We look forward to announcing even more innovations in the near future.”

The new InVigor L120 and InVigor L135C hybrids are now available for booking in Western Canada. Bayer CropScience will release additional information on more ‘L Series’ launches for the 2012 growing season later this fall.
