Pioneering integrated control of sclerotinia in carrots

For the last three years BASF have been investing time and money in developing new ways of improving the control of Sclerotinia in carrots.
Solely in conjunction with BASF and Wroot Water Ltd, Howard Hinds has been developing a new canopy clipping technique which involves clipping foliage between the rows when the carrot foliage starts to fall over, using the clipping machine the Wroot Clip Master 3.
