Penn State and Delaware Valley students intern at Seedway LLC

Two interns from Pennsylvania will be working at Seedway, LLC this summer. Penn State University student Kathryn Tokarz is working from the Company’s Hall, NY headquarters and Delaware Valley College student Kery Swope is operating at the vegetable seed location at Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Both students will visit Seedway’s parent company, GROWMARK, Inc., Bloomington, Illinois, on three occasions during the internship for orientation and training programs.
A senior this fall, Tokarz, of Mansfield, PA, is majoring in Agribusiness Management. Ms. Tokarz will be working in all phases of the business including product research, seed production, distribution, sales and marketing. Kathryn will be visiting Seedway customers throughout VT, NY and PA conducting interviews and collecting Seedway product testimonials.
Swope, of Marietta, Pennsylvania, is majoring in Agribusiness and Accounting and will be a senior this fall.
Mr. Swope will be working in all phases of the vegetable seed business including product research, distribution, sales, marketing and customer service. Kery will work on product development projects at Seedway’s vegetable trial research farm at the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
