Beck’s Hybrids is pleased to announce the purchase of the former Pfister Hybrids facility in El Paso, Ill. Lester Pfister founded the Pfister company 75 years ago and the facility has served as the headquarters. The El Paso facility will provide Beck’s additional seed processing capabilities, expanded warehouse space, and additional research and testing facilities.

“Our mission is to provide our customers with the best in seed quality, field performance and service”, explains Sonny Beck, president of Beck’s Hybrids. “More and more farmers are trusting Beck’s for their seed needs resulting in the rapid, steady growth of our company. As a result, we need to stay ahead of this demand. The purchase of this facility will allow us to deliver Illinois farmers the best seed products for their fields and will allow us to grow into the future.”

The Beck family and family of employees remains dedicated to developing and growing the best performing seed products. Located at I-39 and Route 24, the facility will provide great road access allowing Beck’s to serve customer needs throughout the state. Beck’s will begin to update the facilities and make plans for their overall utilization over the course of the year.
