FuturaGene hires Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs

FuturaGene is pleased to announce that Dr. Eugênio César Ulian joined the company on July 25th in the position of FuturaGene’s Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs. Dr. Ulian reports directly to the CEO of FuturaGene, Stanley Hirsch, and his scope of activity is global.
Eugênio is from the city of Marília (São Paulo State) and has extensive knowledge and experience in the biotech sector. He has a degree in Agronomy from the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (UNESP-SP) and a MS and Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Texas A&M University. In addition to having published 30 papers, Eugênio has written chapters in several books and participated in many scientific meetings in Brazil and abroad as a participant and lecturer.
Some of the noteworthy positions he has filled during his career include his work as a researcher and as Technology Manager at Copersucar Technology Center (CTC) and Sugarcane Technology Center (CTC) at Piracicaba (São Paulo) responsible for the Biotechnology program at both centers. His last position was Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager at Monsanto.
