Agrisoma Biosciences appoints Patrick Crampton Vice President of Business and Product Development

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
July 7, 2011

Agrisoma Biosciences Inc. announced today the appointment of Patrick Crampton to Vice President Business and Product Development. Serving most recently as Head of Marketing for Syngenta Canada, Patrick brings regional, country and global marketing and product management experience to this position.

“As Agrisoma moves forward, delivering on its vision of scalable, sustainable energy solutions, we are expanding the depth and breadth of expertise at the leadership level. Patrick’s wealth of ag-industry know-how will prove invaluable as we commercialize Agrisoma Carinata,” says Steven Fabijanski, Agrisoma President and CEO.

Patrick has worked in the agriculture sector for more than 15 years with experience in sales, marketing and product management in both Eastern and Western Canada, as well as internationally in Basel, Switzerland. He has led global branding efforts, managed cross-functional teams, and brought blockbuster technologies to market.

“Agrisoma represents the future of biofuel production. Its advanced crop improvement technology, selection of Carinata as an energy feedstock crop platform and broad industry partnerships were all elements that attracted me to the organization,” explains Patrick. “As part of the Agrisoma team, I am looking forward to developing a viable petroleum replacement that will add value to both agriculture and biofuel manufacturing industries.”

Agrisoma Inc. is a private agricultural biotechnology company using its proprietary Engineered Trait Loci (ETL) technology to commercialize a suite of industry-leading oil quality and crop improvement traits for use in energy feedstock crops.
