Beck’s Hybrids announces that Jim Zimmer, seed industry leader, has joined Beck’s Hybrids acting in an advisory role. Jim will serve by focusing on the strategic development of Beck’s Hybrid’s growing business.
Before joining Beck’s, Zimmer most recently served as the CEO of Channel Bio Corp. Zimmer brings to Beck’s more than 20 years of seed industry experience including serving as the Vice President of Monsanto’s U.S. Branded Business. While at Monsanto, he held various sales, marketing and business unit leadership roles within Monsanto’s U.S. commercial organization.
Jim left the seed industry in early 2010 to pursue his other passions of real estate and farming. However, Beck’s found a way to let Jim continue to live that dream, while still being a part of Beck’s exciting growth as the largest independent retail seed company in the United States.
President of Beck’s Hybrids, Sonny Beck, explains, “We are excited to have Jim as a member of our team. His integrity, drive, and creativity are attractive characteristics that will complement our culture. Jim puts the Farmer First, the same as we do, and we like that about him. His advice and consultation will be valuable assets aiding in the future growth of Beck’s Hybrids.”
“I have great respect and admiration for the Beck’s organization,” says Jim Zimmer. “I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute to their amazing growth.”
