Nufarm and Sumitomo Chemical execute a framework agreement for new product development

Nufarm Limited and Sumitomo Chemical Company Limited have entered into a framework agreement to cooperate on the development of new formulations and mixtures of crop protection products from both companies.
The agreement will allow each company to individually identify opportunities by utilizing the other company’s chemistries in order to develop new and innovative crop protection solutions.
Nufarm Group Executive of Innovation and Development, Mike Pointon, said "an expanded portfolio of products from Sumitomo Chemical will allow Nufarm to identify new opportunities to address the needs of grower customers in various markets around the world".
Executive Officer of Sumitomo Chemical, Ray Nishimoto, also welcomed the signing of the agreement, saying "it represents another important step in the ongoing co-operation between the companies".
