After three years of testing WBP Lamant is listed at the German Described variety List. WPB Lamant is listed as a mid-early ripening wheat.. WPB Lamant has a tremendous package of resistance genes against diseases in wheat. WPB Lamant has very high resistances against septoria, yellow- and brownrust and mildew. Most important of course are the very high yields treated and untreated. WPB Lamant has a good baking/milling quality (B 5 (volume)), with a remarkable high milling of flour and high water adsorption.

WPB Lamant opgenomen als baktarwe in Duitsland

Twee jaar na Nederland is het wintertarwe ras WPB Lamant opgenomen op de Duitse Officiële Beschrijvende Rassenlijst. Ook in Duitsland wordt het ras ingedeeld bij de rassen met een zeer hoge opbrengst. De ziekteresistenties zijn zeer goed tegen gele- en bruine roest, bladvlekkenziekte en meeldauw. WPB Lamant is een B-kwaliteit baktarwe waarbij de zeer hoge uitmaling en de hoge wateropname opvallend zijn.
