BARLEY, MALT, BEER COMMITTEE

Lors du Comité Bière Malt Orge du 27 Janvier 2026, les décisions suivantes ont été prises :

• Les variétés à 2 rangs de printemps SY 423541 (en attente de dénomination) et MONETA seront testées en pilote par le CBMO.
• Les variétés à 2 rangs de printemps LG QUATUOR, SY REMOA, CHISTERA, LG SOPRANO et AC PICTURE peuvent être testées en pilote si l’obtenteur le souhaite.
• Les variétés à 6 rangs d’hiver LAROCHEL, KWS DIVINATRIS et HOPINEL seront testées en pilote par le CBMO.
• La variété à 6 rangs d’hiver TITANEL peut être testée en pilote si l’obtenteur le souhaite

HOMOLOGATION DES NOUVELLES VARIETES D'ORGES DE BRASSERIE

Lors du Comité Bière Malt Orge du 27 janvier 2026, les décisions suivantes ont été prises :
Les variétés à 2 rangs de printemps, SAILER et LG BAROK passent en observation commerciale après avoir satisfaits les tests pilote de validation technologique.

Choice of new malting barley varieties to be tested in brewing and malting plots

During the Barley Malt Beer Committee of January 27th, 2026 the following decisions were taken:

• The 2 row Spring varieties SY 423541(name under decision) and MONETA will be tested in the pilot facility by the CBMO.
• The 2 row Spring varieties LG QUATUOR, SY REMOA, CHISTERA, LG SOPRANO and AC PICTURE can be tested in the pilot facility at the breeder request.
• The 6 row Winter varieties LAROCHEL, KWS DIVINATRIS and HOPINEL will be tested in the pilot facility by the CBMO.
• The 6 row Winter variety TITANEL can be tested in the pilot facility at the breeder request.

APPROVAL OF NEW MALTING BARLEY VARIETIES

During the Barley Malt Beer Committee of January 27th, 2026 the following decisions were taken:

The 2 row Spring varieties, SAILER and LG BAROK are going in commercial observation after satisfying the pilot testing of technologic validation.
