WPB Clifden is the latest addition of Wiersum Plantbreeding on the UK Recommended Variety List 2026.
WPB Clifden is an exciting new variety with very high yields. WPB Clifden is an hard feed (group 4) spring wheat.
The variety has a good lodging resistance with good other agronomic characteristics. Resistance to diseases are average to good, with a very high mildew resistance.
WPB Clifden has a good hectoliter weight and good Hagberg falling numbers.
