10 years of CPPSI at the SBC!

This year marks 10 years of the Collaboration for Plant Pathogen Strain Identification at the Seed Biotechnology Center. CPPSI's mission is to provide tools for standardized plant pathogen strain or race identification and variety resistance determination. CPPSI was established with the support of ASTA and several vegetable seed companies. Learn more about the history of CPPSI here.
 

 

CPPSI Updates

New reference materials available through CPPSI
Differential seed, type isolates, and inoculation procedures are now available for:

  • Pepper Tobamoviruses
  • Tomato Bacterial Speck

Check out our white papers for more details and the CPPSI accessions on USDA-GRIN for access to seeds and isolates donated by CPPSI.
 

 

 

Coming soon
Reference materials for CMV in pepper including inoculation procedures, seed of differential hosts, and pepper CMV type isolate.
