SOYLEIC High Oleic Acid technology featured in new Dairy Air Series of soybeans with Martin Seed Company

Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council partners with Martin Seed to boost feed efficiency in dairy

The Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC) is proud to announce a new partnership with Martin Seed to introduce the Dairy Air Series of soybeans, featuring SOYLEIC® High Oleic Acid Technology. This collaboration highlights the innovative potential of SOYLEIC technology to transform local agriculture by providing a more efficient, high-quality feed source for livestock while supporting farmer profitability and sustainability.

Through this partnership, Martin Seed will incorporate SOYLEIC technology into its new Dairy Air Series, a lineup of non-GMO soybeans specifically designed to enhance feed efficiency. These soybeans will be roasted and fed to dairy herds at Benton Dairy, creating a local, sustainable supply chain that benefits soybean growers and dairy producers in West Central Indiana.

“This SOYLEIC technology represents the future of soybean innovation, and we’re excited to see it making on-farm impacts through partnerships like this,” said Bryan Stobaugh, Missouri Soybeans’ director of commercialization and licensing. “The Dairy Air Series demonstrates how SOYLEIC’s high oleic acid content can deliver superior benefits—not just in feed efficiency, but also in creating value-added opportunities for farmers and livestock producers alike.”

SOYLEIC soybeans are a patented, non-GMO trait developed through farmer-funded research by MSMC. It produces soybeans with higher oleic acid content, which enhances the nutritional profile and performance of both oil and meal. By planting SOYLEIC soybeans, farmers can maintain their non-GMO premiums while delivering an improved product for livestock feed or food applications.

“This collaboration with Missouri Soybeans and the SOYLEIC program allows us to bring groundbreaking technology to our local market,” said Matt Willard, owner and president of Martin Seed. “We’re proud to be part of an initiative that supports high yields and feed efficiency and strengthens the connection between soybean growers and end-users like Benton Dairy.”

The Dairy Air Series is part of Martin Seed’s broader commitment to sustainability and innovation in agriculture. The program includes soybeans and corn hybrids designed to maximize yields for farmers while delivering high-energy feed solutions for livestock operations.
