"An accessible, compact and very international fair in which everyone who has a connection with seed and innovative technology is present," said one of the visitors of Seed meets Technology. The successful event has just completed its tenth edition. Approximitely 1500 visitors from no less than 73 nationalities visited the fair in week 39. The connection between new technology, varieties and a knowledge programme appears to be a unique formula for companies active in the seed sector.
Organizer Wendy Houdijk of Vertify says: "National and international, trusted and new companies were present with a stand, trading table or a demonstration field. The otherwise quiet Zwaagdijk was the hub of the seed sector, attracting visitors from China, Peru, New Zealand, Ghana and many other countries."
This year the fair was once again packed with exhibitors who showed their innovations and they took advantage of muliple opportunities to network with existing and new customers. "As an exhibitor, it is really necessary to book a space at the event on time, otherwise you run the risk that we will be full".
The programme of seminars and symposia brought enough diversity. Various companies offered seminars in which products and services were discussed in detail. During Seed meets Technology, two symposia were also on the agenda. Companies that complement each other on a current and objective topic regarding seed technology were also discussed. For example, during one symposium, they spoke about seed packaging and the quality improvement that can be achieved with the latest techniques.
Seed Companies
The demonstration fields of Takii Europe, Sakata, Germains, Wing Seed and Tozer are located at the fair. From the restaurant you had a beautiful view of the fields with crops such as cabbage, pumpkin, carrot and spinach. It was also possible to visit the fields with guidance of the above mentioned companies.

Edition 2025
