Opportunities for Dutch gene-editing expertise

Canada aims to further develop their gene-edited crops and is striving to attract gene-editing expertise from countries like the Netherlands.
 


The World Seed Congress in Rotterdam was an excellent global platform for Canada to present new rules and regulations for gene-edited crops that were announced in April.

Technology, innovations and knowledge to create drought tolerance or disease resistance traits is more than welcome in Canada, as Canada aims to play a part in the rapid growth of innovation.
