“Spike-Up combines two proven products for farmers who are looking for an added punch to glyphosate for burndown in cereal crops” comments Grant Deveson, Nufarm’s Calgary based Commercial Manager.
New Spike-Up contains the active ingredient tribenuron, - found in products such as Express®, plus Nufarm’s Credit® glyphosate. These two products provide a real one-two punch for superior burndown of key weeds such as narrowleaved hawk’s beard, dandelion, kochia and volunteer canola. Spike-Up used as a pre-seed product may also provide extended control into the growing season.
New Spike-Up comes conveniently packaged in a 40 acre case and a 900 acre tote.
As with all Nufarm herbicide products, Spike-Up is fully serviced and priced to provide value to the grower.
Breaking with tradition: When Nufarm broke from the pack as the first company to end rebate and bundling programs, growers and retailers shared in their approval. As part of the Nufarm product family Spike-Up will be free of grower rebates.
Nufarm has stepped up to become Canada’s leading provider of high-quality crop protection products – products known for helping growers save money without risking reliability and quality. Today, Nufarm operates in over 100 countries and has been in business for 50 years. The Canadian office opened in 1997 and is located in Calgary, AB.
