Stokes Seeds has announced the hiring of Joe Szczepanski as Territory Manager for Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and the Dakotas.
In this position, Joe will be responsible for seed and service to growers in the region, providing commercial vegetable seed recommendations and collaborating with growers to match seed options to their production and profit goals.
“Joe’s strong agricultural background, crop production experience, and enthusiasm for supporting growers will allow him to make an immediate impact in this region”, stated Bruce Ulmer, US Sales Manager for Stokes Seeds.
Joe earned a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. As a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA), Joe is an active participant in the Wisconsin agricultural community. He currently serves on the Partners of Progressive Agriculture Board. He has experience as an on-farm agronomist, and most recently, was a store and sales manager for a John Deere dealership and oversaw new technology introductions and staff training. He resides in the Stevens Point, WI area.
Stokes Seeds has announced the hiring of Vince Winkler as Territory Manager for New Jersey, Delaware and Eastern Maryland.
In this position, Vince will be responsible for seed and service to growers in the region, providing commercial vegetable seed recommendations and collaborating with growers to match seed options to their production and profit goals.

Vince earned a Bachelor’s Degree in agronomy crop and soil management from Purdue University. He has a background in commercial vegetable production, seed sales, and was most recently territory manager for an industry-leading irrigation company. Additionally, Vince has experience with nutrient management, chemistry application, and food safety. He resides with his family in the Middletown, DE area.
Stokes Seeds has announced the hiring of Lane Fraleigh as Territory Manager for Central and Southern Florida.
In this position, Lane will be responsible for seed and service to growers in the region, providing commercial vegetable seed recommendations and collaborating with growers to match seed options to their production and profit goals.
“Lane’s strong background in commercial vegetable product development, crop production and seed sales will make him an immediate asset to growers in the region”, stated Scott Rush, Southeast Sales Manager for Stokes Seeds.
Lane earned a Bachelor’s Degree in horticultural science from Auburn University. He has a background in vegetable production, seed sales, and was most recently territory manager for an industry-leading vegetable seed breeder-producer. Additionally, Lane has experience irrigation systems and turfgrass management. He resides with his family in the Bonita Springs, FL area.
