DSV oilseed rape varieties Beatrix CL and Matrix CL have topped 2023 NIAB Clearfield trials with gross outputs of 107% and 105% of control respectively based on results from three sites in Cambridge, Kent and Hereford.

The next highest performing variety has a gross output of 102% with all others in the trial below 100% of control.

"These trials clearly show the outstanding yield potential of DSV Beatrix CL and DSV Matrix CL," says the company's Sarah Hawthorne.

"Growers opting for Clearfield technology can now do so knowing they can achieve the same yields as the best non-Clearfield varieties, while benefitting from a top agronomic package including pod shatter resistance, RLM7+ resistance to stem canker and TuYV protection."
