Charles Thompson joins Illinois Foundation Seeds as Sweet Corn Breeder and Station Manager

Charles Thompson has joined Illinois Foundation Seeds, Inc. as Sweet Corn Breeder and Station Manager located in Champaign, Illinois.
Charles will lead the station’s breeding and testing activities of superior propriety sweet corn germplasm.
Prior to joining the IFSI Sweet Corn Division, Charles earned the degree of Master of Science in Crop Sciences, Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Illinois. In pursuit of his advanced degree, Charles earned numerous awards and honors.
