Welcome to the Family
We’re excited to welcome two new Kentucky bluegrasses to GO Seed’s portfolio of award-winning turf grass available this fall. Bombay Kentucky Bluegrass and Cloud Kentucky Bluegrass which tied for second place for overall turf quality in the National Turfgrass Evaluation Program (NTEP), only behind GO Seed’s Starr Kentucky Bluegrass which claimed first place!
In a market flooded with options, it’s important to make sure that you’re receiving the best grass seed solution for your sports fields, fairways, home lawns, and parks.

Bombay Kentucky Bluegrass performed well in the NTEP trials for overall turfgrass quality, rust resistance, summer patch resistance, and spring and fall density. These traits would be vital to keeping green turf in regions with high humidity and regular summer temperatures staying above 82° Fahrenheit for extended periods. Additionally, Bombay has excellent seedling vigor, superior color, texture, and density.

Cloud Kentucky Bluegrass was noted by NTEP for having top traits for overall turfgrass quality, density, seedling vigor, drought tolerance, stem and crown rust resistance, and summer patch resistance. Cloud performed in the top statistical group for drought tolerance (wilting) in the Lexington Kentucky trial location. These characteristics make Cloud an excellent choice from high-end professional sports fields to the fields at the local municipal park.
