China International Import Expo (CIIE), so far the world’s first import-themed national-level exhibition, provides a perfect platform for overseas enterprises to display technologies and goods. It is also the best entry mode of overseas enterprises into the Chinese market. The 5th CIIE, which was successfully held in November, 2022, attracted more than 2800 exhibitors from 145 countries and regions. The worth of tentative deals for one-year purchases of goods and services reached 73.52 billion US dollars.
 

What worth to mention is that the Crop Seed Industry Sub-area, which was especially established for the first time at the 5th CIIE, attracted top 10 global seed companies, including Bayer CropScience, Syngenta Group, Corteva Agriscience, Limagrain and RIJK ZWAAN. This area made headlines on media such as the People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV and CGTN upon its debut. Its popularity ranks first among the 16 sub-areas of the 5th CIIE.

The 6th CIIE Crop Seed Industry Sub-area is now open for exhibitors to register. We sincerely invite overseas-registered upstream and downstream enterprises of the seed industry chain (including enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) to display the latest technology and characteristic achievements at the expo, and to promote international exchange and business cooperation in the field of seed industry. China’s optimized COVID-19 response and opening-up measures will definitely make it easier for exhibitors to participate.
