Specialists and breeders from DLF Beet Seed attend the American Society of Sugar Beet Technologists' 42nd biennial meeting and conference
The American Society of Sugar Beet Technologists (ASSBT) has held the 42nd biennial meeting and conference in the beginning of March. This time it took place in Savannah, Georgia, USA.

Specialists and breeders from DLF Beet Seed, Landskrona, Sweden together with American colleagues represented the company at the conference with about 440 participants.

We gave oral presentations and presented posters connected to successful breeding against pests and diseases in sugar beets, such as root maggot (Tetanops myopaeformis), Aphanomyces cochlioides, Cercospora beticola and virus yellows.
Adam Hanson and Tyson Waters show off their poster on root maggot tolerance evaluations. The poster won an award as the most appreciated poster at the conference.
