DNAStar partners with Ion Torrent

DNASTAR® and Ion Torrent, a unit of Life Technologies (NASDAQ: LIFE) today announced a collaboration in which Ion Torrent will be offering DNASTAR’s sequence assembly and analysis software products to its customers through the Ion Torrent on-line web store. The combined instrument and software offering will allow Ion Torrent customers to go from DNA to completed data assembly and analysis in one easy-to- use workflow.

Financial terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
