ASTA is gearing up for its 62nd Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference, kicking off this weekend in Orlando. Current registration numbers are at pre-pandemic levels, with registrants representing 33 countries.
The conference schedule includes a special Listening Session with U.S. Government representatives on plant breeding innovation policy on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 28.
Later that day, a Student Poster Showcase, sponsored by Bayer, highlights the latest research from a special delegation of post doc students, curated with help from Seed Central.
The General Session, on Monday, January 30, features a keynote by Randy Riley of Golden Sun Insights, followed by an interactive, facilitated networking exercise to dive deeper into the issues most impacting the seed industry’s future.
The conference wraps up on Tuesday, Jan. 31 with a crucial State and Federal Policy review, offering key insights from ASTA policy experts on factors impacting the seed industry since the midterm elections.
