Farm whisperer, beer farmer, and storyteller joins GO Seed
 



GO Seed is pleased to announce the addition of Cher Gillson to its Sales and Marketing team.

“We are thrilled to add Cher to our team,” said Jerry Hall, President of GO seed. “Her diverse agricultural and marketing experience will be a valuable addition.”

Cher brings a passion for helping farmers innovate to create positive change in their operations. She is also one of the leading experts in brassica genetics and use, her knowledge and drive will be heavily utilized at GO Seed.

“I’m excited to see the addition of Cher Gillson to the GO Seed team,” said Jon Bansen, owner of the organic dairy farm Double J Jerseys, Inc. “Her knowledge of forage varieties and their uses will be of great use to those of us making a living grazing animals. She really cares for the wellbeing of us in the industry.”

Cher Gillson comes to GO Seed with nearly a decade of business-to-farmer and business-to-business agriculture experience in both domestic and international markets. She grew her love of agriculture while cultivating 25 acres of crops as Rogue Farms’ “Beer Farmer” and marketing the final products in over 50 countries. From Rogue Ales she began her own marketing company specializing in sharing brand stories of farmers and vintners in Oregon. Most recently Cher worked as the Sales & Marketing Lead for Ioka Marketing, building their domestic forage and cover crop market.

“I’m proud to be part of a seed company that is at the forefront of research to create a healthier planet,” said Cher.
