American Seed Trade Association's comments to Chile reap rewards for soybean seeds

Following comments from ASTA, Chile’s Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero (SAG) has agreed to accept an additional declaration to be free from Heterodera glycines based on visual inspection and has amended other language to better fit the needs of industry.
This change will prevent the need for the industry to do seed health testing or any other specific mitigations for this particular pest.
ASTA appreciates the opportunity to work with USDA/APHIS and Chile SAG to find solutions for the seed industry.
