This year, WorldVeg’s improved breeding lines will be demonstrated in the field during the Bitter Gourd Open Field Day on July 26, 2022 at the WorldVeg East and Southeast Asia Research and Training Station, Kamphaeng Saen, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.

WorldVeg’s genetically broad based and fixed, top new bitter gourd lines of all the market segments bred through recurrent selection (short green spiny, short green smooth shiny, medium green spiny, medium green smooth shiny, long green spiny, long green smooth spiny, Vietnam segment, exclusive Pakistan segment) will be revealed. Gynoecious, predominantly female lines of short, medium, and long segment and WorldVeg’s unique F1 hybrids identified through observational, preliminary, and advanced yield trials will also be showcased.
