The Cucurbit Genetics Cooperative Reports 44 (2021) and 45 (2022) are now online, published on the CucCAP website https://cuccap.org/ or https://cucurbit.info/. CGC 44 includes studies and reports on watermelon, melon, and Cucurbita germplasm and “In Memoriam for Dr. Claude Earle Thomas” who recently passed the way. CGC 45 is a Special Edition – 2022 Gene List for Melon assembled by Drs. Catherine Dogimont and Nebahat Sari. We thank all scientists contributing to these two recent CGC issues. Special thanks to Dr. Linda Wessel Beaver for her special efforts in editing, formatting, and finalizing all the publication steps of these CGC issues. Also, special thanks to the editors in reviewing the manuscripts and to Mary Lorscheider in assisting and maintaining the CucCAP and CGC websites.
We are now accepting reports for CGC #46 (2023). We encourage you to continue to share your research and submit manuscripts or reports to CGC. We also encourage you to submit any interesting observation from your regions, descriptions of new germplasm, techniques, or any information that you think could be of use or interest to the cucurbit genetics and related research communities. Please, check the author style instructions on the webpage https://cucurbit.info/ or through the CucCAP website https://cuccap.org/. Please, email your report or manuscript to me (amnon.levi@usda.gov) by January 15, 2023.
Also, please don’t forget to register and submit your abstract this week to Cucurbitaceae 2022 https://conference.ifas.ufl.edu/cucurbits/ .
