Stokes Seeds adds Eastern New York and New England Territory Manager

Stokes Seeds has announced the hiring of Jason Detzel as Territory Manager for eastern New York and the New England states.

In this position, Jason will be responsible for seed and service to growers in the region, providing commercial vegetable seed recommendations. In representing Stokes Seeds’ comprehensive product line, he will collaborate with growers to match seed options to their production and profit goals.

“It’s about helping our customers meet their goals, and Jason’s passion for agriculture and enthusiasm for working with commercial vegetable producers will make him an asset to growers in the region”, stated Bruce Ulmer, US Sales Manager for Stokes Seeds.

Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s degree in Business from the University of the People. A native of Massachusetts, Jason is an active member of the Hudson Valley NY agricultural community and brings a diverse skill set to the Stokes Seeds sales team. With experience in livestock, forages, vegetable crops, and as a former senior Cornell Cooperative Extension educator, he is well prepared to work with growers to find profitable solutions to their crop production challenges. Jason and his family reside in Hudson, NY.
