Biome Makers’ new BeCrop Advisor Certification now available in Spanish

West Sacramento, California, USA
May 17, 2022

Biome Makers’ new BeCrop® Advisor Certification (BCA) program is available in Spanish and English, aligning with the two main languages spoken by employees, customers, and partners. Biome Makers collaborate with crop advisors in Spain and Latam which has been expanding exponentially in 2022.

Agronomists and consultants are invited to apply for the BeCrop Advisor Program, a robust community of soil health and BeCrop® Technology experts. The program is designed for experienced industry advisors who are looking to provide informed agricultural recommendations by decoding soil biology.

BeCrop® Advisors (BCAs) have become leading experts in soil health as they now have the tools to work with growers, retailers, and manufacturers to match the right solutions to the most pressing challenges farmers face. With the knowledge of the cutting-edge BeCrop® Technology, BCAs play a key role in helping growers optimize inputs and take part in the mission to achieve global sustainable agriculture.

BeCrop®, a Biome Makers technology, is built upon the most comprehensive global database of 10M microorganisms, and a proprietary bioinformatics pipeline. Through BeCrop® Technology, BCAs can assess biological soil health based on microbiome insights on nutrient cycling (macro/micronutrients), early disease risk detection, stress resistance, biodiversity, and much more.

New Gen of Tech

The BeCrop Advisor Certification is granted upon completing the required BCA Course Modules. In contrast to other programs that can cost thousands, this Biome Makers initiative is 100% free with one goal in mind: improving soil health worldwide by bringing transparency to the agricultural ecosystem. BCAs can monitor and manage clients through the BeCrop Portal, and use the BeCrop Portal Toolbox to compare and contrast reports across time, locations, and management practices for any given crop.

Benefits of becoming a BeCrop Advisor:

  • Science-based recommendations
  • Proprietary tools
  • Free soil health education
  • Connecting to local farmers
  • Optimizing input costs
  • Functional microbiome insights
