SeedWay LLC introduces N-R-Gee Cornell University-developed alfalfa

Hall, New York, USA
January 3, 2011

SEEDWAY® announces the introduction of N-R-Gee alfalfa for spring 2011 planting.
Developed by the Plant Breeding and Genetics department at Cornell University, N-R-Gee is part of the Farm Science Genetics® line of premium forage products, exclusively from SEEDWAY.

Bred for high-quality feed value in combination with top yield potential, the digestible neutral
detergent fiber in N-R-Gee allows more efficient use of the feed by livestock resulting in more milk-per-ton or gain-per-unit of forage consumed. N-R-Gee has the ability to regenerate branch roots following damage from disease, insects, weather and wheel-traffic. Rated fall dormancy 4, N-RGee is well-suited to Northeast production conditions.

Headquartered in Hall, NY, SEEDWAY, LLC maintains locations in Trumansburg and Mecklenburg, NY, Shoreham, VT, Mifflinburg, Emmaus and Elizabethtown in PA and Lakeland, FL. A full-line seed company, marketing farm, turf and vegetable seed from the Rocky Mountains to the east coast and Ontario, Canada, Seedway, LLC is a subsidiary of GROWMARK, Inc., Bloomington, IL
