Growers and media now have easy access to the inoculant information they need most thanks to an overhaul of the Becker Underwood Canada product websites.
The Becker Underwood Canada product web sites all got completely redesigned. The goal was to give the most frequently viewed content prime real estate on the sites so growers, retailers, researchers and ag media can easily find what they're looking for.
"Different content is being used at different times of year," says Ralph deVries, assistant director of marketing at Becker Underwood Canada. "Through the fall and winter the technical sheets and sales information are important to growers as they choose the right products for next spring. Closer to planting the traffic to the MSDS and labels sections spikes."
The sites for the major Becker Underwood brands got redesigned including www.Nodulator.com for pulse crops, www.HiStickNT.com for soybeans in Eastern Canada and www.NodulatorNT.com for soybeans in Western Canada.
"We field a lot of phone calls every year from retailers, farmers and even ag media with various questions relating to rhizobial compatibility with chemical seed treatments and in some instances various types of fertilizer which include micro-nutrients," says deVries. "There are new rhizobial strains, new chemistry and registrations all the time. Putting this information on the web allows us to keep all the data fresh."
