De registratie van groente- en landbouwrassen loopt volgens de wet na tien jaar af. De Raad voor plantenrassen biedt vanaf 2022 de mogelijkheid om deze rassen te herregistreren. De uiterste, wettelijke, aanmelddatum voor herregistratie is 31 december 2021.
Aanvragen voor herregistratie die de Raad na deze datum ontvangt worden niet meer in behandeling genomen en gaan de schrappingsprocedure in.

Reminder: for prolongation of registration, apply before 31 December
According to the law, the registration of vegetable varieties and agricultural varieties expires after 10 years. The Board for Plant Varieties offers the possibility for prolongation of registration from 2022 onwards. You can apply for prolongation of registration on 31 December 2021 at the latest.
If the Board for Plant Varieties does not receive your application for prolongation of registration before the determined deadline, the variety will enter the ‘varieties to be deleted’ procedure.
