Sakata Vegetables Europe holds Brassica Field Days in Greece on 4-5 November

Together with its local distributor, Sakata was pleased to welcome more than 120 growers, nurseries and distributors and also thirty 4th year students from the Faculty of Agriculture in Thessaloniki over a period of two days. This event took place in Chalkidona in northern Greece.
Visitors took the opportunity to learn more about Sakata’s wide range of brassica for the area. Over 19 varieties were showcased: 8 cabbages, 8 broccoli and 3 cauliflowers and eight of them were to be newly introduced on the Greek market: Fighter F1, CAB02972 F1, Goldenslam F1, Hypoo F1, Ulysses F1, Leonidas F1, BRO3177 F1 and Whiton F1.
Visitors gave very positive feedback on this event and the new launches and enjoyed the time spent talking to our teams about their market expectations.
