With continued limited opportunity to visit Spain for this season’s Syngenta Week 7 salad crop open days, the team has created a dedicated virtual event.

The dedicated Salads Emotion website gives the chance to take a look around the plots and meet the breeders describing the latest developments and varieties designed to meet grower and customer demands.
Syngenta UK leafy salad specialist, Rosemary Atwood highlighted: “It features all the varieties that we would have been able to show during that week.
“I would like to invite any grower or salad crop customer to have a look at the site, to see the varieties we have available now and some of the potential introductions of the future.”
Crops on grown and show at the event included:
- Baby leaf salad
- Wholecrop lettuce
- Spinach
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Cabbage
In addition to videos and site overview, an online Field Book describes the attributes and market potential of all the varieties on show.
