Tritium 3H, Inc., a Canadian hemp seed company based in Lethbridge, Alberta, specializing in hemp variety testing and commercialization of industrial hemp varieties is pleased to announce an exclusive 3-year License Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Colorado-based CW Hemp Supply Co. a division of Charlotte’s Web, Inc. (“Charlotte’s Web”) the market leader in hemp CBD extract products.
Under the terms of the Agreement, Tritium3H is licensed to produce and distribute feminized seeds for two CBD hemp cultivars recently registered on Health Canada’s List of Approved Cultivars (“LOAC”) for outdoor cultivation in Canada;
- CW Ambassador, Canada’s first high CBD feminized autoflower hybrid with an 85-day maturity and,
- CW Duchess an early maturing high CBD feminized hybrid with robust cannabinoid production
The two CBD hemp cultivars were developed to be harvested with 0.3% THC (or lower) by dry biomass weight, to deliver full-spectrum CBD extracts with wellness benefits but without intoxication from THC. These are among the first hemp CBD cultivars on the LOAC that are early flowering and early maturing for outdoor cultivation and harvesting within the shorter Canadian growing season.
Seeds from the two cultivars will be sold in Canada exclusively through the Tritium3H-approved distribution network. Tritium 3H specializes in hemp field testing, certified seed production, commercialization and distribution of industrial hemp cultivars. The hemp seeds will be produced in and sold under the “CW Hemp Supply Co.” brand.
