Michael Shuldham’s role will be to support and expand the commercial operation of LSPB (LS Plant Breeding Ltd), working alongside Managing Director Chris Guest.
Michael studied Agribusiness at Harper Adams University, graduating in 2018. He has spent the past couple of years working in the Swiss Alps during the winter, and on UK farms in the summer months, along with time spent travelling the world.
He previously worked at Gleadell Agriculture Ltd in the seed department during his placement year within his University course, so he has a background knowledge of the seed sector which will be highly beneficial to his new role.
Chris Guest comments: “Michael will be a valuable asset to the LSPB team, as the company enters a new era with new products both in existing species sectors of pulses and oilseed rape, now with the addition of spring wheat and an upcoming winter wheat breeding programme.
“I look forward to introducing him our customer base, as we build on our existing success and enter an exciting new time for UK agriculture as LSPB continues to look to deliver innovative products to UK farmers through our merchant and seed selling customers.”
