Ask Attis is a Belgian sustainable agritech company, founded by Guy Van
Looveren, CEO, that has developed a technology that is able to detect
pests and diseases on food crops for the professional agriculture industry.
The first food crop that they will be launching in June 2020 is the tomato plant.
“ Our technology can be used in different applications for open fields and
greenhouses. The first solution that we will be launching in June 2020 is a
mobile application for iOS and Android” says Guy Van Looveren. “Our
professional users can use it by taking pictures of the tomato leaves and we
will determine whether the tomato plant is infected with any kind of pest or
disease.”
Ask Attis is working together with several Universities, labo’s and institutions to
determine the different pests and diseases on tomato plants. “ By working with
professional experts from the Universities, labo’s and institutions, we are able
to provide quality and deliver the correct detections, what the professional
growers expect from us.“ is Ann Pluym (Co-Founder and Chief Food Crops
Officer) confirming.
“We use Artificial Intelligence to do our predictions” adds Steven Verhoest
(Co-Founder and CTO). “ By using Artificial Intelligence, our technology is
continuously improving. But most important is that we choose technologies
and solutions, based on what our customers are expecting from us.”
Already several companies and professional growers have contacted Ask Attis
to use their solution. “ We are thrilled to confirm that we have been contacted
by companies and growers from all over the world: Belgium, The Netherlands,
Italy, France, Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand. We are in contact with
them to set-up our services. “ confirms Guy Van Looveren.
For the launch in June 2020, they have a special action:
20 % discount if you contact Ask Attis before the first of June and when you
become a customer.
