AgReliant Genetics, a leader in corn seed research, production and quality and the third largest corn seed company in the United States and Canada, today announced that Mark Herrmann, president and chief executive officer, has communicated his planned depart from the company.
The departure is scheduled for later this year. Herrmann will hold his position in the interim period while a talent search firm recruits a new president and chief executive officer for AgReliant Genetics.
“It has been very rewarding to work for a great company alongside a dedicated team of professionals,” said Mark Herrmann. “Through innovation, a clear strategy at every level and hard work by all, AgReliant Genetics is positioned for great success this year and well into the future.”
Herrmann stated further, “As an independent seed company, with owners KWS and Limagrain Groupe, we have one of four global corn germplasm pools allowing our research efforts to focus on supporting farmers in unique ways that best meet their needs through our great seed brands, AgriGold, LG Seeds and Pride Seeds. I am confident and excited about the future of AgReliant Genetics - the strategic direction of the company, our products, our people and our dedication to Helping Farmers Grow.”
