Helm Agro US hires Dustin Smith as Regional Sales Manager for Mid-South

HELM Agro US, Inc., a global manufacturer of high-quality crop protection and fertilizer products, announces the hiring of Dustin Smith as Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-South.  

Smith, who has 20 years of experience in territory management and market development, will be responsible for HELM crop protection sales initiatives in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, southern Missouri, Mississippi and Tennessee.

“Dustin’s expertise in territory development makes him a valuable asset as HELM continues to grow across Southern crop markets,” says Aaron Locker, Vice President of Sales, HELM Agro US. “Dustin has vast agronomic knowledge and solid relationships with both channel partners and growers which makes him an ideal fit for elevating our business across his territory.”

Previously, Smith served as Innovation Specialist for BASF in the south Delta sales region. Prior to that Smith worked for The Husqvarna Group in various leadership roles including Market Development Manager and Territory Sales Manager.

Smith holds a B.S. in agribusiness from Mississippi State University. He also earned an executive MBA from Louisiana State University. Smith currently resides in Raymond, Mississippi, and can be contacted at dsmith@helmagro.com.
