GreenLeaf Genetics LLC is excited to announce that Chad Ihde has joined its staff as a Trait Sales Manager.
Ihde will be responsible for working with independent seed companies to implement the trait platforms that GreenLeaf Genetics offers. His territory will cover the northwestern and central U.S.
“I am excited for the opportunity to offer true genetic and trait choices to the seed industry and to work with independent seed companies in my territory,” said Ihde.
Ihde previously worked as a District Sales Manager for Channel in Minnesota and then as a Team Lead for Midwest Seed Genetics. During his time as a Team Lead, he managed his own sales territory while also overseeing a sales group in Minnesota.
“Chad will be a nice asset to our team with his previous knowledge of the seed industry and his focus on helping customers succeed,” said Clayton Becker, National Sales Manager – Traits.
Chad is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy. He currently lives in Maple Grove, Minnesota with his wife and their three children.
GreenLeaf Genetics LLC, a joint venture between Syngenta and DuPont business, Pioneer Hi-Bred, offers licenses for corn and soybean genetic material to foundation seed houses and seed companies and facilitates the licensing of biotech traits from its parent companies. GreenLeaf Genetics is currently helping more than 150 seed companies to access genetics and traits from Syngenta and Pioneer.
