The Royal Barenbrug Group, a world leader in grass technology, announces that André Brand has recently been appointed to its Board of Directors. André’s addition was prompted by family members Frank and Bas Barenbrug moving from the Board of Directors to the non-executive Supervisory Board. 

André Brand has strong roots in the agribusiness. During his career, he has been active in various international roles within the industry, ranging from operations and general management, to innovation and marketing. For the past six years, he has been working for Trouw Nutrition in the Netherlands, as Director in the global innovation department. Within Barenbrug, André will help to establish the strategic direction of Barenbrug, as well as being responsible innovations and new market developments.
 
Barenbrug announced earlier this year the addition of Martin Bijl to the Board. With the addition of André, the Barenbrug Board of Directors is now complete again.
