Kalo appoints Ryan Lewis as new Area Manager

KALO, Inc., a leading supplier of specialty chemicals for the agricultural & specialty seed care markets have announced the hiring of Ryan Lewis as Area Manager. Lewis will be based in Berthoud, Colorado and will serve the states of Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas. 

“Ryan brings extensive experience in agricultural business development, territory management and technical sales,” stated Mike Edens, Western Regional Business Manager for KALO. “In his new capacity, he will be responsible for supporting key customers in the Great Plains and upper Midwest region while working directly with field sales representatives and coordinating communications with customer management personnel.”  

“While we expect him to be instrumental in support of key adjuvant customers, we are also confident of Ryan’s potential to help build our KALO Seed Care business, which is part of a strategic alliance between KALO and AGRILEAD, Inc. of Russell, KS,” noted Brett Henson, Market Manager of Seed Care for KALO. “Having worked extensively in the vegetable seed industry, Ryan brings a results-oriented track record to our organization.”  

“I am very excited about joining KALO,” noted Lewis. “It is a first-class organization with a growing line of top-quality products, and I look forward to helping KALO become an even greater force in the market in the years to come.”

Lewis’ work experience in agriculture has been diverse, having worked as a Farm Manager, Vegetable Seed Sales Representative, Crop Advisor and most recently Product Manager for a major agricultural supplier. Lewis earned his degree in Soil and Crop Science at Colorado State University. 

“We are pleased to have Ryan, his wife Patti and son Clay, join the KALO family, and we know that he will be a valued resource to our customers, and an important contributor to our success for many years to come,” Edens concluded.
