Becker Underwood, Inc. has named industry veteran Michael “Mike” McFatrich to the newly created position of national sales manager. McFatrich will oversee all sales management responsibilities for biological, seed enhancement, horticultural and specialty products produced and marketed by the company in the United States and Mexico.

“Mike is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in the agriculture industry,” said Paul Holliday, director of marketing, sales and operations, NAFTA region. “His experiences include senior management roles in the seed industry and specifically with seed, seed treatments and biological products as well as in the synthetic pesticide crop input market.

“In each of his previous positions, Mike has proven himself an innovative leader and he comes to Becker Underwood with responsibility for a very important portion of our NAFTA region businesses,” Holliday continued.

McFatrich comes to Becker Underwood from Chemtura Corporation where he most recently served as North American Business Lead-Seed Treatments. Previously he was Global Product Manager — Seed Treatments. Other senior manager roles included positions with the National Corn Growers Association, Gustafson LLC/Bayer CropScience and Dow AgroSciences.
