Nufarm appoints process engineer for Greenville, Mississippi facility

USA
June 8, 2019

Nufarm is pleased to announce the hiring of Leonardo S. Buzzetto as process engineer for its Greenville, Mississippi manufacturing facility. Buzzetto will be focusing on the commissioning and start-up of the Greenville plant, as well as supporting the engineering and maintenance activities on the site.

Leonardo joined Nufarm in July 2018 as a process engineer in the company’s Chicago Heights, Illinois facility. Prior to joining the Greenville team, he played an important role in the new facility’s design engineering development.

“During his short tenure with the company, he has accomplished many process improvement initiatives in Chicago Heights, led cross-functional teams with Process Safety Management activities, and realized numerous process automation goals,” says Scott Pfantz, operations manager for Nufarm’s Greenville facility.

Leonardo holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, and he is currently pursuing a certification in Process Safety Management through Georgia Tech.

Nufarm recently named an operations manager, site supply planner and production superintendent for the Greenville facility.
