FlowerTrials® 2019, the place where plants meet people, is right around the corner, so don’t forget to block week 24 in your agenda.

This year Sakata will once again present you our broad assortment of pot and bedding plants from seed and cuttings at our familiar location, Zwethlaan 52 in Honselersdijk. We will show new introductions, established favourites and innovative concepts that deliver our promise of quality, reliability and service.
This year we are excited to announce that The Vikings Have Landed! Sakata’s all-new hybrid Begonia series are set to conquer the market, and the first European landing will be at FlowerTrials®! Begonia Viking™ and Viking™ XL, the first ever Begonia series to offer the unique chocolate leaf, will be on show to wow you with their colour and vigour.

In addition to the conquering Vikings, we will of course also highlight Sakata’s other powerful performers, including the 3-season all-weather SunPatiens® series, and Petchoa BeautiCal®, another stunning all-weather winner! Ladies Love Daisies, and twice the Daisy is twice the fun, as our new Cape Daisy® Double novelties prove! From A-Z, all your Sakata favourites will be on show.  

Visiting our location will be an inspiring experience from arrival until departure. In our spacious set-up we will offer you outstanding coffee, inspiring conversations and plenty of refreshments to keep you as energised and invigorated as our varieties, whatever the weather!

During FlowerTrials® 2019 no fewer than 62 Pot and Bedding Plant breeders will proudly present their new innovations, creative concepts and an incredibly wide range of crop assortments.
