United Kingdom - Cereals and oilseeds variety data in your pocket - The AHDB Recommended Lists (RL) pocketbook publications for 2019/20 are now online

Available for wheat, barley and oats, and winter oilseed rape, the pocketbooks provide summary information* on Recommended and Candidate varieties.
With a variety per page, the format is particularly helpful for use at variety open events.
Hard copies can picked up at AHDB-supported events, across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, this summer. Event details are published at ahdb.org.uk/events (search ‘Arable Connections’).
The publications will also be available at the Cereals 2019 event, which takes place on 12–13 June 2019 in Lincolnshire.
Wheat (spring and winter)
- Recommended nabim group and feed wheat varieties (soft- and hard-milling), and Candidates
Barley and oats (spring and winter)
- Recommended malting and feed barley varieties, and Candidates
- Recommended husked and huskless (naked) oat varieties, and Candidates
Oilseed rape (winter)
- Recommended varieties for the UK (both East/West and North regions), and Described and Candidate varieties
*The information used in the pocketbooks is extracted from the RL for cereals and oilseeds 2019/20 booklet. The RL provides information on yield and quality performance, agronomic features and market options to assist with variety selection.
