Fruitful edition
“Over 78,000 top-class trade visitors from 135 countries and 3,200 exhibitors from 90 countries provided a complete overview of the market of the fresh fruit sector.” That is Fruit Logistica Berlin in a nutshell.
From 6 till 8 February 2018, Berlin was transformed into the capital of the global fresh produce sector. As every year, we were present to meet relations and parties from the entire chain.

International team
Our international team welcomed many visitors at our booth. Chris Groot, Produce Chain Manager: “The Fruit Logistica is a great place to meet international relations. We’ve met a lot of interesting people and had valuable meetings.”
Post-harvest research: actual data to improve our products
This year, our post-harvest researchers were present at the booth. In their special lab area, they showed visitors several post-harvest activities.
Annemarie Schoevaars, Post-harvest Researcher: “Post-harvest data gives us good insights into the characteristics of our products. We use this information to position and improve our varieties. It also helps clients to choose the right variety for their market. With the information we gt from post-harvest research, we are able to attune our products even better to the end-consumers’ needs.”
Fruitful edition
We look back at a fruitful edition of Fruit Logistica and want to thank everybody who made this possible.
