SEEDWAY, LLC is proud to announce that Bill Hanks has accepted the position of SEEDWAY Vegetable Seed Sales Representative for the Nebraska, Kansas, South Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Texas and north Louisiana territory.
In his new role, Bill will provide SEEDWAY commercial vegetable seed customers throughout the territory with personalized seed recommendations and the highest quality service identifying product needs and solutions for individual customers.
Growing up in Plattsburg, MO on his family vegetable farm, Bill is no stranger to understanding what vegetable farmers want and need from start to finish. Hanks began his agricultural endeavour growing up on his parents farm operation raising row crops, cattle and hogs.
In 1985, Bill, wife Jennifer, and his parents began growing sweet corn for the retail sales market. Since then they have expanded their operation to include greenhouse and field production of tomatoes, squash, zucchini, cabbage, peppers, pumpkins, cantaloupe, and watermelon. The family operated business maintains vegetable crop production on 12 acres and 16,800 square feet of retail greenhouses.
Bill currently resides in his hometown of Plattsburg, MO with wife Jennifer and 2 sons Quentin (US Navy Sailor - Atsugi, Japan), and Colman (US Navy Sailor - Everett Washington). In their spare time the family are avid outdoor enthusiasts (when not helping with the farm markets and family vegetable produce operation).
