Wageningen University is a proud member of edX (online classes platform) and has joined them in their goal to provide everyone with access to education, to enhance teaching and learning both on campus and online and to advance teaching and learning through research. Our first open and online courses are now available on edX.org. The courses can be joined free of charge and certificates can be pursued after the payment of a small tuition fee.
MOOCs Wageningen University
Our MOOCs and online courses on edX will train (future) professionals in sustainable food systems and reach out to consumers to help them make informed choices about what they eat, how it is produced and the impact that their choices have on the environment and society.
The first MOOCs of Wageningen University will start on edX in January 2015.
